Becky Van Horsen
Moab Program Director
Becky grew up in Southern California, where her family encouraged her from a very young age to take part in many adventure sports including rock climbing, skiing, and whitewater rafting. In 2002, Becky completed an internship with a Northern California non-profit that provides whitewater rafting trips for people of all abilities. That summer changed her life and she has been working in adaptive rafting ever since. She received her B.A. in Recreation Administration from Humboldt State University in 2010, at which time she started searching for an organization that matched her own passion for adaptive adventure sports.
Becky joined the Splore family in 2012, and now lives and works in Moab, where you can find her enjoying an americano at the local coffee shop, playing with power tools, or cooking delicious meals for her friends. EMAIL BECKY
